What You’ll Be Doing

As our Business Writer, you'll play a key role in helping our clients move forward with confidence. You’ll collaborate with our consultants and directly support clients by creating high-quality, well-structured documents that reflect their vision and meet their needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Writing and editing custom business plans

  • Preparing financial projections, including startup costs, income statements, and cash flow forecasts

  • Conducting and summarizing market research and competitor analysis

  • Translating client interviews and notes into clear, organized written materials

  • Occasionally supporting with website copy or blog content, if interested

You’ll be expected to work independently, manage your own schedule, and stay in close communication with our team as projects move forward.

 

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should bring a balance of business knowledge and strong communication skills. You’re someone who enjoys learning about different industries, solving problems, and helping others succeed.

Requirements:
✔ Degree in Business Administration or a related field
✔ Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
✔ Experience with business writing (business plans, proposals, reports, etc.)
✔ Ability to prepare clear, logical financial projections
✔ Comfortable conducting and summarizing market research
✔ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
✔ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with small business startups and Canadian entrepreneurship

  • Experience writing business plans for immigration purposes (e.g. LMIA, PNP)

  • Comfort working with newcomer or multilingual clients
